She was barely 10 when she made her movie debut and became previously famous alongside Cher and Winona Ryder in 1990's Mermaids and The Addams Family. As a young actress, Ricci would also appear in 'Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain' and 'Casper.' She’s taking on more challenging roles as she got older, in films like Buffalo '66,' The Opposite of Sex and Sleepy Hollow.

Ricci is mom to son Freddie with estranged husband James Heerdegen. She filed for divorce in July 2020. In August 2021, the actress announced on Instagram she is pregnant with her second child. In her post, she tagged hairdresser Mark Hampton, who shared the same sonogram on his page, and they quietly tied the knot in October.
