Michael Rockefeller
Michael Clark Rockefeller was the fifth child of New York Governor and later U.S. Vice President Nelson Rockefeller and a fourth-generation member of the Rockefeller family. He disappeared while exploring the Asmat region of southwestern Netherlands New Guinea, now part of the Indonesian province of Papua. Because headhunting and cannibalism were still present in some areas of Asmat in 1961, there has also been speculation that Rockefeller may have been killed and eaten by tribespeople from the Asmat village of Otsjanep. However, given the lack of actual evidence, this case still remains officially "unsolved."
